Labradorite is an extraordinary stone , with beautiful shades, colors, shine and brilliance that other minerals lack. It is a mineral from the plagioclase group and owes its appearance to the fact that it is a mixture of two other minerals – albite (sodium aluminum silicate) and anortite (calcium aluminum silicate).
